Seamus Fogarty

London-based alt-folk alchemist Seamus Fogarty released new album Ships to critical acclaim earlier this year via Scottish label Lost Map Records, and Swedish label Sing A Song Fighter. Since then, he has enjoyed widespread coverage across BBC6Music ("Fantastic!" Guy Garvey) and recorded a live session for Gideon Coe & Marc Riley, while BBC Radio 3's Elizabeth Alker lauded the album's mix of electronica, German avant-garde and Irish folk inspiration, summing it up neatly "It's robotic, and it's got soul''. Is it any wonder Cillian Murphy has proclaimed Seamus to be 'one of my favourite artists around at the moment'? This show is a duo show with Seamus accompanied by a live drummer.
