Jiggery folkery, hokery pokery… folk rock, pop, gypsy jazz, bluegrass and ‘shake your ass’ in a big old bubbling cauldron!

From adventure, drinking, love and life to gypsies, fairies, legless pirates, black flies and wise old jungle bears, the mad buggers from Plymouth will take you on one helluva journey.

“It’s always a joy to me when something jumps up and smacks you between the eyes – Mad Dog Mcrea did that to me” – Mike Harding

Having played just about every festival and two-bit, jive-arsed dive in Christendom, Mad Dog Mcrea are, in every sense of the word, a live, band with a sound mixed, mashed and finely honed through years of live gigs” – Rock ‘n Reel Magazine

With every visit to York, the crowd gets bigger and bigger. The famous purple happy bus is fired up and there’s room for you to jump aboard!
