Two of Australia’s rising alternative pop artists, byjaye and GAZAL, are joining forces for their debut co-headline Australian tour, bringing their new bodies of work to Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney this November.

The pair first met in a Sydney studio and have been writing music together ever since. Both Arab Australian artists and longtime friends, byjaye and GAZAL share a love for alternative pop that pushes beyond genre, combining emotionally charged songwriting with bold, energetic live performances. Having supported and championed each other’s work for years, this tour marks the first time they’ll take the stage together as co-headliners.

byjaye is a Western Sydney based alt pop artist blending R&B, indie rock and pop into a genre fluid, emotionally charged sound. Drawing comparisons to Dominic Fike, Remi Wolf and The Kid LAROI, byjaye has built a reputation for honest songwriting, infectious melodies and high energy live shows. Following a breakout 2025, he has earned global DSP support, Spotify Fresh Finds placements, airplay across triple j, KIIS FM and NOVA, as well as support from US college radio. His live highlights include showcasing at BIGSOUND, national tours with MKTO and Toby Hobart, and a major co-sign from a member of Stray Kids. His debut EP, unarmored, arrives in October 2026.

GAZAL is an Australian/Lebanese alt pop artist whose fearless, emotionally charged songwriting transforms vulnerability into power. Drawing comparisons to Florence & The Machine, FKA Twigs and Doechii, her music moves effortlessly between intimacy and propulsion. Fresh off Nilüfer Yanya’s sold out Australian tour, GAZAL has amassed more than 15 million TikTok views, earned extensive global editorial support and been featured by Rolling Stone, with triple j calling her “one of the country's most adventurous and interesting pop music makers.” Her new EP, How'd a Woman Fly, arrives in August 2026.
