Mountainscape + Xenonaut + Hyperdweller

Masters of progressive post-metal Mountainscape will be bringing their incredible cinematic, riff-infused instrumental soundscapes to The Portland arms on Sunday 6th December. Their recent EP, Traversing Realms (released on Road to Masochist), is a must for soundtrack fans, featuring a breathtaking collaboration with Amaya López-Carromero (Maud The Moth); adding another phenomenal installment to their rich repertoir of technically accomplished instrumentalism. Support comes from local post-rock artisans Xenonaut, who recently released their debut album In Caelum, which takes the listener on a masterfully crafted instrumental journey blending elements of post-rock and progressive metal, delivering soaring melodies and driving riffs aplenty.Completing the lineup are mathy progressive electro duo Hyperdweller. Comprising members of Din of Celestial Birds and Sellsword, Hyperdweller fuse bass-driven modern prog with elements of synthwave and angular, rhythmically-challenging math-rock.
