Some One’s Sons are a dynamic five-piece Irish folk band, carving out a distinctive place in Ireland’s vibrant folk scene. Fronted by singer-songwriter Daniel Allen, their sound is folk music for today - rooted in tradition and shaped by a modern edge. Their songs blend powerful storytelling with themes that resonate now, capturing the realities of a changing Ireland while delivering high-energy, memorable live performances. Their debut EP, The Boom is Back, explores themes that run deep throughout Irish history, yet strike a chord with today's generation.
They have previously supported renowned acts including Sharon Shannon, Seán Keane, Chasing Abbey, George Murphy, The Fureys and the Wolfe Tones. Some One’s Sons’ live performances are a whirlwind of energy, emotion, and authenticity, making them a must-see act for lovers of true Irish folk music.
