Abyss Above 780

Abyss Above is a slovak deathcore band.

Founded by Martin Mikuska (guitarist) and Erik Gladic (vocalist) in 2015; now band is a five piece act, including Tomas Gladic (guitarist), Matus Conka (bassist) and Jozef Ronto (drummer).

The band’s musical style can be defined somewhere within deathcore subgenre, but still borrows influences from other genres as well, i.e. black metal, death metal and metalcore.

As of now, band had performed as a supporting band for bigger acts as Within Destruction, Ingested, Black Tongue, Osiah, Hexis, Cabal, Of Virtue, Nasty and some more.

Abyss Above joined DISTANT on their Tyrannotophia release tour which took place in late August 2019 alongside Czech slamming deathcore band Silent Generation.

As of March 2023, the band has joined a roster of American label Seek&Strike and is aiming to release a brand new EP this year. Also the band has introduced a new single, titled “Vain”, which was released on 10th March 2023.
