Christopher Dicker is a pianist and composer based in Melbourne.
In three short years, this Australian musician has collaborated with and contributed music to projects from all over the globe. From collaborations with prolific New-York artist Kyle McEvoy to author Ben Hobson (Allen & Unwin) and the score to Snake Island (Official Soundtrack to the Novel), Dicker’s compositions have broad appeal to a wide audience.
While Dicker’s music is oft quiet and meditative, it speaks of a much broader and much grander vision. His humble recordings are rarely more than himself and his piano and have been streamed more then 23M times on Spotify alone. Dicker has contributed these solo piano works to label compilations by 1631 Recordings, Sonder House, Bigo & Twigetti and Memoir Music (Chillhop).
With the recent release of his second album Ephemera, Dicker is back in the studio, composing works for string orchestra, scoring a series of short projects and composing a suite of new solo piano works.
