Not many young producers hit musical milestone after milestone like this guy. Mark Villa (18) entered the scene with a bang being the youngest artist ever to play Tomorrowland (Belgium) and hitting Parookaville (Germany) while busting out massive hits ‘Venture’ and 'No Mercy' that same year. Signed exclusively to Mixmash Records and developing his skills rapidly, a bright future awaits this musical protege.
When Dutch DJ/producer Mark Villa, Martinus Haase, first got his hands on electronic music production programs the benjamin was only 8 years old. Inspired by Avicii's melodic progression in 'Fade Into Darkness', Martinus started to experiment with writing melodies and creating his own tracks. After developing his craft, at the age of 14, Villa was ready to show to the industry what he was made of and attempted to join a Mixmash Records demo drop. Running out of time to hand in his demo, he luckily got his shot of feedback from the A&R team. Within a relatively short period of time, he showed stellar progress in producing skills and shortly after signing at Mixmash Records, his first release ‘Venture’ (2015) hit the scene! His debut track made a huge impact on the scene and got DJ support from the likes of Laidback Luke, Don Diablo, David Guetta, Blasterjaxx, Jonas Blue, Quintino and many others. Even to this day, ‘Venture’ is still played in the club/festival scene by many international DJs.
