Pyrrhon

Pyrrhon is a technical/experimental death metal quartet originating from Brooklyn, New York. They formed in 2008 and currently consist of vocalist Doug Moore, guitarist Dylan DiLella, bassist Erik Malave, and drummer Steve Schwegler. Original bassist Mike Sheen departed in 2009 to study abroad, and drummer Alex Cohen for other reasons in 2015.

To date, Pyrrhon has released 3 EPs and 4 full-length albums. Pyrrhon has been often noted for their abrasive, inaccessible, and uncommonly technical sound. The band draws influence from various genres, including their native technical death, as well as noise and prog rock, punk, and free jazz, which often results in the dense and complex music for which they are known.
