Gene release 'Speak To Me Someone' on July 21st. Taken from their second LP 'Drawn To The Deep End', the single comes backed with new song 'As The Bruises Fade' and a cover of Nick Cave's 'Ship Song'. There will also be another live EP featuring songs recorded from their Albert Hall gig.


Festival Dates

Gene have announced that they will be playing the NME stage at T in the Park on Sunday 13th July with The Seahorses and Mansun. The band are also set to play at the V97 festival with The Bluetones in Leeds on August 16th and Chelmsford on August 17th.

Radio 1 Session

Gene are set to perform two acoustic tracks on Simon Mayo's Radio 1 morning show on July 22nd, the week of the single's release.


Radio 1 Roadshow

Gene are also set to perform at Mark Goodier's Blackpool roadshow on July 25th. They will play two songs live on Blackpool beach.
