About Hope Tala

Hope Natasha McDonald (born 18 November 1997), known professionally as Hope Tala, is a singer-songwriter from London, England. Her music genres range from R&B, alternative pop and neo soul.

Her music career began with her debut single “Blue,” and Sensitive Soul whilst juggling studying at the same time, and even made one of her most popular singles “Lovestained” in this time. The track even landed her a feature on the Rolling Stones' 50 Best Songs of 2019 list, with her being at number 8.

The year of 2020 saw Hope release her track “All My Girls Like To Fight” which is one of her most popular tracks to date, and was also revealed to be one of Barak Obama’s favorite songs of 2020. This track along with “Crazy” released in October of the same year, would lead to her third studio EP, Girl Eats Sun.
