His writing style is poetic and often takes inspiration from renowned writers (Oscar Wilde, Charles Baudelaire, etc.).

Frontman of The Libertines and the Babyshambles, but also acclaimed as a solo artist with two albums so far, he has quite a musical legacy, which has sadly sometimes been overshadowed by his controversial antics and habits.
