Dead/Awake

Dead/Awake was formed in late 2017 by members Michael Campa (guitar, vocals), Payton Kuhn (drums), Anthony Schlickman (bass), Morgan Earp (guitar), and Dillon James Hare (vocals). Dead/Awake has recorded multiple songs which feature noteworthy guest vocalists, such as Frankie Palmeri (Emmure), Tyler Shelton (Traitors), and Duncan Bently (Vulvodynia). The band signed to We Are Triumphant in mid 2018 and promptly released their debut EP titled “Insurrectionist” on October 5th reaching a respectively high number on iTunes/Apple Metal Charts. The band followed up their debut release with multiple singles throughout 2019 (including a spot a cover compilation of the infamous Pray for Plagues album) which in turn accumulated for their first full length album in late November, breaking 1 million hits across major streaming platforms including notable placements on “New Metal Tracks” and “Deathcore” editorial playlists on Spotify. In 2020, Dead/Awake plans to double down on heaviness and utilize their current momentum to reach new heights.
