Hello everyone! My name is Fei - I am the vocalist, songwriter, producer, and visual artist for Meishi Smile - an emotive electronic project which has been independent in all aspects since its inception through my own self-operated label <a href="https://www.zoom-lens.org/">ZOOM LENS</a> in 2014 Since 2020, the project has become a band - we just recently dropped our 1st new album in 5 years, Ressentiment. With larger goals and the traditional routes of music often providing little sustainability for independent + marginalized artists, I want to expand the personal and creative aspects of Meishi Smile while also providing something exclusive, authentic and intimate with our fans! I am also currently in the process of writing our 4th album Limerence, and I would like to share the journey with you while continuing to explore the themes of identity + healing which this music represents.
