Khaled - خالد

Khaled Hadj Ibrahim ( خالد حاج إبراهيم‎‎), also known in his early career as Cheb Khaled (الشاب خالد, “Young Man” Khaled), is an Algerian Raï singer. He broke out internationally in 1992, when after signing with a French record label he enlisted the help of North American producers Don Was and Michael Brook, leading to a trademark sound mixing traditional African music with dancefloor elements.
