NightmareOwl, an electronic
music producer whose been creating since 2010 using different platforms
like Youtube to share my work with the world.
 
I want to talk a little
bit about me before showing you some examples of my music. I’m from Canary
Islands in Spain, living here is a handicap in terms of networking and
exposure, the music artist scene here is very small and poor on genre variety, which makes me 
completely dependent of Internet to get heard.

Making a living as a musician is tricky these
days. We live in the era of oversaturated music market, with streaming
overtaking album sales and platforms like Youtube becoming less reliable with
monetization, artists need other options. 
 
 
Every track requires: 
 
- Composing
 
- Recording / Engineering
 
- Mixing 
 
- Mastering
 
- Promotion, social media, etc...
 
 
That's a lot of work for one person, 
my projects can
take months to create
 &amp; that's not including the promotion stuff. Having
time to create freely is not easy for me let alone produce them to a great
level of quality.

For a couple of months I've been thinking about the next steps to follow with my channel and my content. Creating these videos has been a risk for my channel of 5 years, not because I include music from different artists, but because Youtube does not manage well the problems with this content, and have not bothered to give me notifications or explanations with the problems I have had. 
 
I know that many of you want me to continue creating more mixes, but at the moment it is a very big risk because I do not gain anything beyond making this community grow, something that it has taken me so long to create and I do not want to lose it. 
 
So I've made a decision that I think will be the best for the future. I added a new reward for all my patrons. I want this to be a way for you to access/download ALL my content (+10 hours) safely and to help me continue creating mixes for you. This not only helps me, since all the artists that appear in my mixes are the ones that take the profits from the ads that Youtube includes in the videos, I think it’s the best way to support them.
