A Touch of Class

ATC, later called A Touch Of Class, was a Dance-Pop band from 1999 – 2003. The group started in Germany for a musical of Cats, but all 4 members are actually from different countries, 3 of them English speaking. Tracy is from the UK, Sarah is from Australia, Joseph is from New Zealand and Livio is from Italy. They had a huge world hit in 2000 called “Around The World (La La La La La)” which was a one-hit wonder in the US and UK, but was a top 10 in several other European charts, including a #1 in Germany. They had 2 albums: Planet Pop in 2001 and Touch The Sky in 2003. The band was broken up after their second album, though the reason why isn’t really known. It could be the poor sales of Touch The Sky, or maybe the bad publicity from a lawsuit by ATB (German DJ) on the name.
