Siouxsie and the Banshees

About Siouxsie and the Banshees

Formed in 1976, Siouxsie and the Banshees is one of the main faces of Post-Punk and New Wave music. The band’s songs often tell stories, and have deep meanings behind lyrics filled with imagery.

From slower songs such as “Cascade”, to more upbeat tunes such as “Peek-A-Boo”, and even to covers such as “The Last Beat of My Heart” and “Dear Prudence”, the sound that Siouxsie and the Banshees had is timeless.

The group put out 11 studio albums during the years 1978 and 1995 before splitting up in 1996.
