In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. On my 8 year old birthday my mom gifted me a microphone that I was able to connect to my boom box radio. All my friends from my neighborhood came over and we we're all rapping into the mic until real late at night. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bob Marley & The Wailers, Legend – The Best of Bob Marley & The Wailers (2002 Edition) Nas, Illmatic The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Electric Ladyland I like these albums because the writing on all 3 are immaculate. Song writing back in the day was on another level. Artists said the most by saying the least, if that makes sense. They seemed more in tune with instrumentation vs artists of today. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. This is the first song I wrote with no curses and is exclusively non-explicit. I didn't notice until I put the song out. But this is a benchmark in my career where I can say I leveled up in my song writing. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Traveling to Europe. Being an artist is not easy. I landed some television placements and got paid from that. That was a time my music funded a life experience for me which was pretty meaningful and showed me this music could be real. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? For sure. I strive to always out do myself. Each day I'm getting better and learning more. Im a student of music so my career and process is a lifelong learning journey. I hope to one day look back and see that I've raised the bar for music.
