About Tracy Bonham

Angsty singer/songwriter Tracy Bonham studied violin at Berklee College of Music but abandonded classical for rock in the early 1990s. After making her mark on the local Boston club scene, she signed to Island Records and released her debut, The Burdens of Being Upright, in 1996. That album's "Mother Mother" was a smash hit and relegated Bonham to relative one-hit-wonder status. She continued to tour and record (at one point with the performance troop the Blue Man Group) into the 2010s, releasing Wax & Gold in 2015. ~ Rovi Staff
