About Michael Constantino

American singer/songwriter Michael Constantino built his following with savvy social media self-promotion and themed mashups of popular songs that resembled a DJ Earworm production with an in-house cover singer. Boston-bred and Los Angeles-based, Constantino scored his first viral hit in 2016 with "2000-2016 Mashup," which blended covers of snippets from tracks by Adele, Macklemore, Carly Rae Jepsen, Bruno Mars, and more, set atop SeeB's remix of Mike Posner's "I Took a Pill in Ibiza." That same year, a flurry of mashups were also released, including "2015 Mashup," "2016 Mashup," and "90s & 2000s Mashup," which included notable hits from TLC, 'N Sync, and Nelly. In addition to these covers, Constantino also released his own music in the form of "Hit Record," "One for Me," and "Rescue You." In 2017, he recorded collaborative covers with Camila on Zayn and Taylor Swift's "I Don't Wanna Live Forever" and with Emma Heesters on Machine Gun Kelly and Camila Cabello's "Bad Things." Following the death of Chester Bennington, Constantino released an acoustic ode to Linkin Park on "LP Mashup." The bulk of his popular tracks ended up on the Cover Up collection which arrived before the end of the year. In 2018, in addition to the "Male vs. Female Pop Singers Mashup" with Chrissy Spratt, Constantino issued another original track, "Girl Like You." ~ Neil Z. Yeung
