In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I was probably about 10 or 11 the first time I heard Hey Jude on a tape in my walkman. I remember getting goosebumps and being mesmerized by the sound of the piano and voice. Rewind. Play. Rewind. Play. Over and over again. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Keith Jarrett, The Köln Concert (Live) Live Phoenix, Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix The Beatles, The Beatles (The White Album) Koln Concert has an amazing backstory and Jarrett puts together a perfect set of live improvisation. The Beatles have laid the foundation for the last 5 decades of pop music with the White Album. Phoenix made a unified modern album that grooves hard. Tell us why you chose this song. “Analog or Digital” The backstory- the original song was a fairly negative and satirical take on the state of the music industry but never felt quite right. I tore up the lyrics and rewrote it with an infusion of optimism. I think it works so much better. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Not a single moment, but we have met some amazing people along the way on this journey. Releasing the first album lead to so many new opportunities, quite literally life changing. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? My high school year book said I'd sing to a sold out Madison Square Garden someday. That would be pretty cool.
