About Faithless

Huge in the late ’90s and early 2000s, the British electronica band Faithless has sold more than 15 million albums worldwide and notched seven Top 10 hits in the UK. • Founding member Sister Bliss began her music career as a five-year-old violin prodigy before developing an affinity for electronic music and becoming a popular acid house DJ. • Sister Bliss founded the group with trailblazing trance producer Rollo. They later added singers Maxi Jazz and Jamie Catto. • After a string of club singles, Faithless scored big with their 1996 debut album, Reverence. The LP yielded three Top 10 UK hits: “Salva Mea” (featuring future pop star Dido, Rollo’s sister), “Insomnia,” and the title track. “Salve Mea” and “Insomnia” both hit No. 1 on the US dance charts. • Their 1998 sophomore effort, Sunday 8PM, included “God Is a DJ,” which became the group’s third No. 1 on the US dance charts. The single hit No. 6 in the UK. • “We Come 1,” off their third album, Outrospective, was a massive hit across Europe. It reached No. 3 in the UK, tying “Salva Mea” for their highest-ever chart placement in their home country. • The group has secured the rights to remix classic hits like Donna Summer’s “I Feel Love.” They’ve also issued multiple remix albums allowing contemporaries to put their own spin on Faithless tunes. • In 2010, Faithless returned with their sixth album, The Dance. The LP peaked at No. 2 on the UK charts, marking the group’s fourth Top 10 album. • Faithless notched another UK Top 10 with 2020’s All Blessed, their first album without Maxi Jazz.
