Electron

Electron are a modern metal band based in London, originally hailing from Portugal. Through heavy, immersive soundscapes and raw lyrics, the duo Jason Payne (vocals, guitar) and Joanna Hyde (vocals, bass) channel the experience of feeling detached in a world which seems increasingly distant.
Their music is a personal journey into the struggles of living on the fringe - of not fitting into the moulds that society sets, of grappling with isolation, and of searching for a deeper purpose.

Channelling influences from post-grunge, metalcore and the alternative sphere, each song on their new album Is This Worth Living For?, produced by Grammy-nominated Romesh Dodangoda (Nova Twins, Bring Me The Horizon), serves as confrontation to the pressures to conform, the relentless drive for superficial perfection, and the weight of solitude.
Electron tap into these universal existential struggles, to create a space where fans who feel lost, misunderstood, or alone can find something true, resonant, and real. With every riff, lyric, and melody, Electron offer an invitation: to embrace your own path, reject the pressures that bind you, and discover meaning on your own terms.
