"featuring members of shoegaze and post-rock heavy hitters Caspian, Junius, and Constants, SOM plays the kind of somber, glimmering music that exudes a heavy fog of emotion and introspection around it." - Kerrang! SOM's third full-length, Let The Light In, is out now via Pelagic Records. With a unique sound dubbed "Doom Pop" by Metal Injection, SOM's dreamy shoegaze roots are on display, but the heft at its core is bracing and ferocious. Let The Light In sees SOM turn their sights inward, towards our most primal impulses; seeking solace and reconciliation within ourselves and the people we hold close. Since 2019, SOM have toured extensively across North America, Europe, and the UK alongside likeminded acts including Katatonia, Sólstafir, Slow Crush, Blackwater Holylight, Holy Fawn and more. Their relentless touring schedule across 22 countries, along with an evolving catalog and their most recent genre-bending cover of Taylor Swift's dark pop anthem "Anti-Hero" with a video by Joel Villegas (Gojira, Poison The Well), has solidified their place as innovators in the landscape of modern heavy music.
