Luke Saunders + Manchild @The Cardigan Arms

Get ready for an entertaining evening of music from two exciting artists! On the 26th November, Luke Saunders and Manchild will be taking to the stage at The Cardigan Arms from 19:30. You're in for a cracker... Manchild are a Leeds based jazz/electronica trio who combine ethereal sax melodies with driving drum and synth grooves. With regular gigs around Leeds and an April UK tour, they are back at the Cardi supporting jazz and soul vocalist, pianist Luke Saunders. Music based on self-reflections and questions of societal norms, at the heart of what Luke wants his songs to display, is sincerity and sensitivity. For inspiration, he references artists such as Carole King and Jordan Rakei, blending their sounds with classic 1950s jazz singers and their contemporaries of today.
