Ceephax Acid Crew live at Parler

Parler x Byrd Out #1: Ceephax Acid Crew (live) Expect to find the Acid Master and alumnus of Aphex Twin's Rephlex Records, Planet Mu, and Breakin' Records wielding the kit. He doesn't mess about - he'll be stacking a load of synths and drum machines on the table in the middle of Parler and giving us a live, 90 minute analogue acid werkout. "Ceephax's live performances are stuff of legend" (Boiler Room) "romping acid brain-melters" (RA) "a whirlwind concoction of thumping technicolour sound layered with synthetic arpeggios that thunder through it like a Bull at Pamplona." (The Line Of Best Fit) What is all this anyway? What's going on? Give your ears a taste of something different at our new monthly night at Parler, spotlighting music that doesn't necessarily have a home elsewhere in Cheltenham. Our focus will be live performances, unless the DJ we're getting in is truly exceptional. From squelching acid through to masterful saxophone, we will aim to bring you something with energy that will resonate differently and make 'going out' worth your while for the flapping bits on the side of your head. Cop a ticket. Give your ears something worth listening to. Tickets at £18. With support.
