Blutengel

The german gothic-pop band “Blutengel” (“Blood Angel”) was founded in 1998 by Chris Pohl and was joined by Ulrike Goldmann in 2005, the two most consistent members throughout its history.
Their catchy synthpop with gothic flair quickly rewarded them with a big fanbase and their lyrical themes include topics such as individualism, love, identity and loneliness.
Although their heavy pop-influence has also been a subject of heavy criticism throughout the years, they continue to have a passionate and loyal following and are still a big name within the scene.
